LONDON – London stock market was on Thursday after slumping the day before the bad U.S. economic data and mounting worries about the banking sector.
In the open, London’s FTSE 100 index of leading share fell 0.13 percent to 4175.03 points.European stocks had closed under the strong Wednesday, with investor sentiment hit by an avalanche of economic data and fresh concerns about the health of the global banking system. London fell 4.97 percent on Wednesday, Frankfurt Paris dipped 4.63 percent and 4.56 percent.
